Find a size for your photo
Pick a size that matches your photo’s shape for the least trimming. Any photo can print at any size, and the app shows you exactly what will be trimmed before you pay.
Most cameras & 35mm film
The classic photographic shape: digital cameras, 35mm negatives, and most scans.
Phone photos & 645 film
The default shape on iPhone and Android, and 6 × 4.5 medium-format frames. 6 × 4.5", 6 × 8" and 12 × 16" print edge-to-edge. 4 × 6" and 8 × 10" work too, with just a small trim.
The classic 8 × 10
The traditional portrait-and-frame ratio. Most off-the-shelf frames fit it, and it's only a small trim from a phone photo.
Medium format 6×7
Nearly square, the shape of 6×7 medium-format film.
Square
6×6 medium-format film, or anything cropped square.
Compare print sizes
Every size shown at the same scale. An 8 × 12" has four times the print area of a classic 4 × 6".
The paper
We print on Fujicolor Crystal Archive photographic paper, exposed with laser light and developed in chemistry for smooth tones, rich blacks and lasting colour.
Gloss
A smooth, shiny finish with vibrant colour and a classic photographic look.
Lustre
A fine texture with less glare and fewer fingerprints, ideal for framing and handling.

Cropping & print quality
If your photo isn’t the same shape as your chosen print, the preview shows what will be trimmed to fit.
Portrait and landscape orientation is handled automatically.
A low-resolution warning means you may need a smaller print size or a better file.
