It's easy to post your rolls to us — we accept postal orders from around Australia and the world.

 Fill out a job form

Please download our 2024 job form and send it in completed with your rolls. This step is crucial for us to be able to identify your order, so please make sure we can read your handwriting and that you've included all relevant details.

If you don't have access to printer we also accept digitally completed forms via email at develop@hillvale.com.au — but please make sure your package is clearly named so we can match it up with your job form on arrival.

Post your order

We strongly recommend using prepaid satchels, padded envelopes, or boxes, as well as paying for tracking for more security during transit. Include your job form and rolls. Post to our lab address above and sit tight.

Wait for an email

We'll send email once we receive your order at our lab. We've found that post usually arrives each day around noon. From here it takes around 5-7 business days for us to develop and scan your order, depending on what service you've selected.

Please note in the first few months of the year (January-March) our turnaround is up to 2 weeks as we work through the backlog from our closure over the New Years break and extra summer drop offs.

Payment

Once your order is complete, you'll receive a Square invoice via email. We separate invoices according to chemical process to speed up our workflow — so you'll receive your colour invoice separately to your B&W invoice, for example. An automatic download link to your scans will be sent through following payment.

Receive your negatives

We offer return negative postage Australia-wide for $11. We're able to stockpile a few months' worth of orders and post them out in bulk when you've built up a collection. Just select "Post All Orders" when you're ready and we'll include this charge on your invoice.

Please note we only hold negatives at our lab for three months before moving them to our deep storage facility
